Globe Australia recently held a seminar at ANZ Stadium, Homebush Sydney. The seminar was held in one of the function rooms in the upper area of the stadium and gave the attendees a birds eye view of the iconic venue.
The seminar attracted over 125 customers from across NSW involved with the turf industry sector. Coupled together with representatives from companies, the day totalled around 140 people in attendance.
The topics of the day were based around the over sowing of sporting fields. Presentations covered such things as seed selection and usage, fertiliser requirements, the control of weeds/pests/diseases, the importance of programming, the use of growth regulators as well as discussing new products on the turf scene.
Patrons who attended the day not only took away a Globe show bag full of goodies, but also a wealth of information and ideas from the presenters. The key speakers on the day were; (click on name for photographs)

Following the formalities, the attendees where treated to a tour and walk around on the hallowed turf at ANZ Stadium.
Mr. Graeme Logan, Grounds Operation Manager of ANZ Stadium gave a good overview of what is involved outside the square when working at a multi use venue such as ANZ.
Following the formal proceedings, guests were treated to lunch in the Platinum Lounge of the stadium overlooking the field. This allowed a chance for everyone to catch up and mingle in a casual atmosphere.
